Kerri Lucas-West

Head Coach

About Kerri

Ringette has been a passion of Kerri’s since her eldest of 3 daughters joined the sport in Surrey in 1989. Since ’89 she has coached and developed players and teams at every level of play from Bunnies to Masters. Kerri has had the honour of visiting the winner’s circle with many of the teams she has coached. She has coached Canada Winter Games 3 times, Canadian Ringette Championships 5 times and BC Winter Games 3 times. Coach Kerri instills in her teams a philosophy and coaching style that focuses on building character, confidence, high self-esteem and a great sense of accomplishment.

Dani Brassington

Assistant Coach

About Dani

Dani developed her love for the game at a young age and has over 18 year’s experience competing at the A, AA and NRL level. She has competed at the Canadian Ringette Championship multiple times and made several trips to Westerns, but the highlight for her was being a part of the national championship winning team in 2012. She has transitioned into coaching over the last few years and has enjoyed working with athletes of all ages and skill levels from bunnies up to U19AA. She is excited to help the next generation of high-performance athletes pursue their goals and push themselves to new heights.

Nina Tajbakhsh


About Nina

Nina has been playing Ringette for 18 years, 14 of which have been in the competitive realm through AA, NRL and Canada Winter Games. Some of her Ringette career highlights include being awarded Rookie of the year in the NRL for the 2014-2015 season, and of course competing at the Canada Winter Games in 2015, as well as the honour of being a Captain and Torchbearer.

Aside from being a part of this Canada Games Program, Nina plays for the BC Thunder in the NRL and coaches in the AA program. Outside of the rink, she has a degree in Kinesiology and is currently working in the Sport & Rehabilitation field, until her return to school for Athletic Therapy and/or Sport Psychology.
